- I've loved the Boston Red Sox for fifteen years now (my hometown team) with an insane passion that is typical for Boston fans. I guess it was inevitable that my husband would trick me into loving the NHL too--he does say I have "an addictive personality". I'm a Ph.D student and am procrastinating on my dissertation by writing about hockey here instead. Work landed us in TX, where no one seems to "get" hockey. Thank goodness for digital cable.
